Moscow - Spartak Stadium

Used in the 2017 Confederations Cup, Spartak Stadium was inaugurated in September 2014.  Located in the Russian capital Moscow, for many years the “people’s team” had to make do without a permanent home.  It was worth the wait.  The shiny new stadium’s façade looks like chain mail but the design is in fact based around the diamond motif that represents the club’s logo.  Usually lit up red and white, the colours can also be switched to mirror those of the Russian flag.
