Assistance with Russian Visa
RUSSIAN VISAS AND UKRAINIAN CONFLICT
Russian visas will continue to be issued without any problems to citizens of India and other nationalities, with no changes to the application process. You can be assured that your application will be accepted unless you have previously encountered immigration issues with the Russian authorities. All our clients receive their visa without any difficulties.Russia has even simplified its visa process by introducing electronic visas.
After booking your trip with us, you will receive detailed instructions on how to complete the e-visa form. Please follow these instructions and fill out the form thoroughly and accurately. Our visa team will review your application and correct any errors if necessary. We will then submit the completed form and pay the consular fee. The visa will be emailed to you as soon as it is ready (the consular processing time is 4 days).
If your trip lasts longer than 16 days, you will need to apply for a traditional tourist visa. More details can be found below.
The trip price includes the consular fee for the e-visa, unless otherwise stated in the trip description.
Required documents for an e-visa
- Passport: it must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you applied for an e-visa. Your passport must have a blanc page for border crossing stamps.
- Digital photo: the photo must be no more than six months old as of the date of the application. You can take a photo with your camera, smartphone or tablet.
- Medical insurance valid in Russia for the entire duration of your stay. We can help with insurance. Please contact us for a quote.
STANDARD TOURIST VISA - TRIPS OF 17 DAYS OR MORE
If your nationality is not eligible for an e-visa or if you plan to stay in Russia for 17 days or more, you must apply for a regular tourist visa.Note: Consular fees for a standard tourist visa are not included in the trip price.
After booking your tour with us, you will receive detailed instructions on how to fill out the visa form. Please follow these instructions and complete the form accurately and thoroughly. Our visa department will review your application and correct any errors if necessary. Please note that the Russian standard tourist visa is not an electronic document and will be stamped in your passport. Your original passport must be presented to the consulate along with your application.
- India residents. You post your complete application pack to our local visa processing office and we make final checks of your paperwork and submit your documents to the Russian consulate. Once the visa is issued, we post your passport back to you.
- Resident in a different country. You will need to apply for your visa at the local Russian consulate or a visa centre. The procedure is straightforward: you complete the visa form online; we check it, issue a required visa support document and email you a verified application pack. You submit your documents to the Russian consulate / visa centre. Our visa team will assist you with any queries you might have.
RUSSIAN NATIONALS / ADOPTED FROM RUSSIA
- Russian citizens with expired passports. Visas cannot be issued. You must enter Russia with your valid Russian passport.
- Children born to parents who both are Russian citizens, automatically gain Russian citizenship, regardless of the place of birth. Visas cannot be issued. You must apply for Russian nationality and obtain a Russian passport.
- Adopted from Russia: the Russian authorities consider you a Russian citizen and you must enter Russia with your valid Russian passport. Visas can only be issued if you provide a document confirming renunciation of your Russian nationality. If you do not have this document, please contact the local Russian Embassy for your nationality checking service. It can take up to 6 months to get a response.
