Day 1
Beijing
Upon your arrival, our driver will be waiting for you at the airport arrival sector, holding a signboard with your name. You will then be transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a fantastic introduction to an old Beijing district, where you will explore a 'Hutong' neighborhood situated by Shichahai Lake. Traverse its narrow streets with a guided rickshaw ride, providing a glimpse into the cultural heritage preserved in these historic areas amidst the rapid development of the Chinese capital. While many hutongs face demolition, certain areas retain their 'special status' to safeguard Beijing's cultural legacy. (D)
