Dear Traveller, |
Have you seen our special offers? |
Summer’s flying by, and our summer holidays are drawing closer. If you’re like us, you have a wish list that stretches for
several years into the future. So if you’re already set for 2019, why not think about locking in a trip for the 2020 season
while prices are low? There are a wealth of early booking
special offers
just waiting to be snapped up, and with an updated
list of departure dates
and prices, it’s not too early to be thinking about next year.
|
|
But where could you go? Perennial favourites
Moscow and St Petersburg
are great in any season. Perhaps you’d choose to book a winter holiday to our cosmopolitan capital and see the onion domes
of St Basil’s cathedral dusted with snow? Or maybe elegant St Petersburg’s White Nights festival is a tempting proposition –
just think how much extra sightseeing you could fit in with all that daylight?

For some of you, a leisurely
river cruise
would be just the ticket. The Volga’s myriad attractions make this a popular option. While you sail down river, you can enjoy a
range of activities on board, from language courses to dance classes, vodka tastings and even painting Russian dolls.
It’s a great way to learn about Russian culture in your downtime between sightseeing stops. Visit the historic cities of Uglich,
Yaroslavl and Kazan, and tour the previously closed cities of Samara and Saratov.
|
|
The classic Russia trip is of course the
Trans-Siberian
and we can take the stress out of planning this epic adventure. We can secure your rail tickets, organise your visas and of
course advise on hotels and stop-off points along the way. If you’re keen on history we’d recommend alighting in Yekaterinburg
to learn about the sad fate that befell the Romanovs, Russia’s last Imperial family.
Nature lovers
will delight in hiking the shores of Lake Baikal, just a short hop from the attractive Siberian city of Irkutsk. There are lots of routes to choose from –
you could rail it across multiple time zones from Moscow to Vladivostok or head south from Siberia to Mongolia or China.
|
|
To those who seek a thrilling adventure, we suggest
Kamchatka.
This wild and remote region is littered with active volcanoes and steaming geysers. In winter, go skiing – or heli-skiing –
amidst some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere in Asia. Depending on the season, we can arrange dog sledding, salmon fishing,
bear watching, hiking trips or even a visit to some reindeer herders. It’s a part of the world few get the privilege to visit but
we can guarantee that if you do, Kamchatka will blow you away.
|
Where will you go first? If you’d like us to help you decide, we’re only a
call or an email
away. After all, one of those special offers could have your name on it.
